What is Express Entry and how does it work?
Express Entry is an automated system that manages skilled worker applications for permanent residents in Canada.
The federal government evaluates if a candidate is eligible for a program operated by express entry program once the candidate provides an online profile. Candidates that are eligible are accepted into the Express Entry pool and ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The CRS is a point-based system used by the government to evaluate and rank Express Entry candidates.
